Women's Ministry

The women of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church have a vibrant and active ministry through an organization called Presbyterian Women.

Statement of Purpose

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves

  • to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study;
  • to study the mission of the church worldwide;
  • to work for justice and peace;
  • to build an exclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witness to the promise of God's kingdom.

Circles

Presbyterian Women meets monthly, gathering in "circles," which offer an opportunity to be involved in smaller and more intimate groups. We meet for Bible study, fellowship and mutual support. The circle meetings are the root of Presbyterian Women service projects.

If you would like to become an active member of a circle, please call the church, 706-733-2275.
