Sunday School

CLICK HERE Sunday School classes are offered each Sunday morning 9:50 a.m. Summer Sunday School is 9:30 a.m. beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Our Sunday school program is divided into several age groups to maximize the meaning for each group. Fellowship, worship, mission, spirituality and involvement are key ingredients of the school's purpose.


Children's Sunday School
Dale Scurry, coordinator

Youth Sunday School
Matt Henderson, associate pastor for youth and their families, coordinator

Middle school meets on lower floor of Alan Fuqua Center

Senior high school meets on lower floor of Alan Fuqua Center, Clay Stallworth and Christian Lemmon, teachers

Adult Sunday School 
Becky Hill, coordinator

Abundant Life Class: Room 227, Sid Gates and Gene Norris, leaders
This class studies the Bible, doctrine of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and current issues. Class discussion is incorporated into the lesson.

Builders Class: Room 223, Kathryn and David McLeod, leaders

Emmaus Class: Room 226, Jane and Jerry Howington, teachers
Mixed ages. Discussion is incorporated into the lesson. Parties are scheduled periodically during the year.

Caritas Class: Room 230, Woody Belangia, leader
All ages. 

Covenant Class: Mary Read room, Carleton Vaughn, leader
All ages. Studies different books in the Bible during the year.
